Aquamarine
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and is said to bring the wearer courage, trust and prosperity. Aquamarine is a light blue or blue-green gemstone that is found in Brazil. It gets its name from the Latin words “aqua” meaning water and “mare” meaning sea. The gemstone has been used for centuries by sailors who believed it would protect them from harm at sea. Aquamarine can be found in a variety of shapes including cabochons, faceted stones and beads.
